£87 Quad Core Mini PC that Runs Windows 10, Steam & 4K

Forget a Google Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon Fire or Raspberry Pi. This dongle sized PC is actually able to run the full version of Windows! Packed with a quad core Intel HD graphics powered chip, this beast can run Google Chrome, 4K YouTube and Steam.

In this review we take the mini-beast through it’s pacing, seeing how it handles playing games natively or streamed through a more powerful computer, how it handles WIFI, Google Chrome, YouTube, 4K videos, and an array of external hard drives to stream media for use in Final Cut Pro X.

I’ve been using this guy for almost two weeks, and I’m impressed, paired with the Rii i8s wireless keyboard and trackpad, it’s been ace to use, an I’ve had no problems with it so far. I bought it for only £80 on Amazon, which is great because Amazon have great customer support, and the makers of the device give you a 1 year warranty for piece of mind.

Bonus notes
- This mini-beast comes with USB 3.0. Raspberry Pi still only has USB 2.0!
- Make sure you delete your temporary Windows update files after first install as they can eat up 8GB.
- It’s quiet.
- It also has a mini SD card slot.
- The power adapter uses mini USB.
- There’s a 4GB RAM version, but that one has no ethernet port.
- I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this guy, but I really do!
